Review of Nothing But the Truth (2008) by Melanie K — 15 Feb 2012
"Nothing But The Truth" is a very well-crafted and directed, politically charged thriller with a great cast, led by Kate Beckinsale, Matt Dillon, Alan Alda, David Schwimmer and Vera Farmiga. The acting is intense, the story complex and intriguing (including a quite surprising end), brilliantly showing the tension between freedom of the press and the power of the state.
Thumbs up for this movie, which unfortunately was totally underestimated and never got a theatrical release. Very recommendable.
