Review of Nothing But the Truth (2008) by Monica F — 15 Jun 2009
I have to say, first of all, that is a complete disappointment that so many stupid, incoherent and plot-less movies get to the theaters every day, and movies like this one, not perfect but decent, are not considered worth showing on the big screen. This movie was released just for DVD, but is more worth watching than many of the movies I have seen on the theaters later.
This being said, I also have to admit that this is not the best drama ever, but is a good one. I enjoyed it because it is not a movie in a rush, which is quite a novelty these days. It also has a coherent plot, even though the revelation of the end felt a bit too planned for the emotional effect. The performances are solid and the topic is interesting.
All in all a good and entertaining Hollywood drama.
