Review of Nothing But the Truth (2008) by Steve B — 19 Nov 2009
I expected to enjoy this film and find it interesting; I did not expect to get blown away. This film is very powerful. Rachel Armstrong (Kate Beckinsale) writes a scathing article that outs a local mother as a CIA agent.
In the wake following the article, Rachel is approached and requested to give up the name of the source. She decides to stand by her principals and face jail time instead of betraying her confidant. The film make you think what you would do if you were in her position.
It is presented as both a political/legal drama and a gripping thriller. This film was incredible and the ending was so powerful it had me in tears. Highly recommended.
