Review of Nothing But the Truth (2008) by Isuru B — 23 Apr 2011
A sadistic tale of politics vs. journalism that presents itself as fictionalized, yet based on a real life scandal that took place in our time. It balances its many elements of politics, media, law and ideology with strong performances by Kate Beckinsale and Vera Farmiga and leaves with a twist that only adds on to what it builds up.
The 2010 movie 'Fair Game' starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn is a direct adaptation of the scandal depicting the other side of the story, which would go hand in hand for an interested viewer.
