Twisted as sin! I love Cate Blanchett and Judi Dench, but this movie was really odd. I knew it had generated Oscar buzz, so I thought I'd check it out. What I found was an unexpected plot, great acting, and a sick feeling in my stomach.
It would have been better if it had been toned down, and the relationship between the teacher and the student could have been explained more.
