Review of Notes on a Scandal (2006) by Andrew N — 01 Aug 2009
It takes more than one viewing to accept this movie. It takes at least two to appreciate the layered psychological complexities and manifold ironies (i.e. "Who is the real predator in this story? Sheba? Barbara? Steven?").
And of course the acting is masterful on both sides. Philip Glass' score is also amazing and does wonders to build up world inside of Barbara Covett's head.
