It has taken me far too long to see this film. It is perfect in its ability to make the audience squirm uncomfortably. Judi Dench is masterfully hateful and creepy. It really is a shame she didn't win the Oscar for this role as she is unbelievable! Cate Blanchet and Bill Nighy are also amazing.
All of these actors completely inhabit their roles in this whirlwind of a story. It is a ride from beginning to end.
