Review of Not One Less (1999) by Kim B — 20 Feb 2008
Loved this movie - made in rural China with (almost) no professional actors, just local people. So it is fresh and real - go rent it! There really are a lot of great movies made in China these days, and all round the world.
I wish more North Americans would give them a try. The Crouching Tiger genre is good, but nothing compared to this. I agree with the reviewer who said this is the type of movie Zhang Yi does best.
