Morris Chestnut is fine & his acting is good too! He put his money up to make this movie AND starred in it. Taraji is one of the best female leads in the biz today. Jenifer Lewis (a Tyler Perry fave) is so beautiful; I wish she would get more mainstream film roles.
I've only recently "discovered" T.D. Jakes (I'm not a "Doctor" Phil fan) & I find his message interesting (the jury's still out). At least they didn't completely vilify the "white woman" in this movie (they came close).
