After watching The Chair, I was expecting something super raunchy as a progression in the Animal House, Porky's, American Pie school. I wasn't really interested in watching Not Cool itself but ended up catching it on Starz.
Curious, I didn't think I'd last through 10 minutes but ended up watching the entire thing. What surprised me the most was how NOT raunchy it was given how The Chair made it seem. Really, it was a fair movie, much more polished than I was expecting.
Hope Mr. Dawson is able to direct another one, though hope he decides not to act (except maybe as one kooky character, but in my opinion he shouldn't be the lead). After watching the movie and seeing Quinto's visceral reaction, I can only say Quinto is the one that needs to grow up (oh and this is coming from a middle aged man who is definitely not the Not Cool demographic).
