I'm not much for the "spoof" movie that have been invading theaters over the last few years. In fact most of them are amongst the worst films of the decade. That said, "Not Another Teen Movie" may not be high art or even great entertainment, but it is much better than most of the others. Some of the parodies from teen oriented movies like "Varsity Blues", "Sixteen Candles", "She's All That", Cruel Intentions", and many more, are quite funny. Others fall very flat and are weighed down by their gross-out themes.

The plot reflects those movies as the teenagers of John Hughes High School leap into various spoofs of teen flicks.
