This unfunny septic discharge tries to give the Airplane/Naked Gun treatment to popular teenaged angst movies. The catalog of John Hughes is given a few nods, but most of the parody is aimed at then-contemporary movies like She's All That, 10 Things I Hate About You, Can't Hardly Wait, Never Been Kissed, and other forgettable pictures.
As expected, Not Another Teen Movie feels like a frankenstein monster of plot contrivances instead of a cohesive narrative. Its main fault, however, is the fact that its poorly timed jokes are often painful to sit through.
