Review of Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) by Sam R — 01 Sep 2008
Beautiful piece of cinema, from cast to soundtrack this film is flawless. Kinski plays the title-role in such a way that the audience member is made voyeur into the heart of a creature that it does not understand.
One is not sure whehter to hate, fear or pity this depraved being. The sense of discomfort created by Herzog is perfect and the eerie soundtrack only laments this. 5/5.
