Review of Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) by Paul F — 04 Apr 2006
I have the english version. Funny note on that: They filmed every scene twice, once in english, once in german. This is great horror. The music by Popol Vuh is excellent too. The film kind of drags after he spends the night at dracula's castle, but the draggyness of it just drives home the foreboding and gloom of what happens to everyone. The scene of dinner at dracula's is in my top 5 of all time greatest creep moments in film :).
Oh, and Isabelle Adjani is smokin hot.
