Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Joel A — 17 Nov 2010
The original Dracula, a true masterpiece in every sense of the word. Max Schreck delivers visually one of the most terrying performances I have ever seen on the silver screen.
The tenson & atmosphere of this film is incredible, it is so eerie, a real sinister macabre feel to it. The film is directed impeccapbly by the great F W Murnau, he just turned this classic story alive on the screen.
Silent Cinema is not for everyone, but if you see one film this should be one of them, it is well worth the watch, incredible early horror film.
