Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Nick P — 11 Feb 2009

I'm not really a big fan of old silent movies, probably because I'm a punk ass 20 year old, but I really liked this. This movie is really creepy, Shreck's performance as the vampire is really eerie, it looks as though he really took the role seriously.

The Black and white also really adds to the whole look of the film. Great use of shadows and darkness also, just a great all around lighting scheme. This movie is a classic and must be seen by any aspiring filmmaker.
