Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Tristan D — 05 Oct 2009
Max Schreck should be commended for his portrayal of Count Orlok, striking the right balance between twisted body movements and subtle facial expressions. Still creepy and gothic, Murnau's take on the Dracula myth is German expressionism at its grittiest.
A symphony of horror indeed!
