Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Patrick M — 07 Oct 2009
After all these years, 'Nosferatu' is still one of the finest Dracula films ever made. The cinematography creates such an eerie an environment while the groundbreaking makeup effects made one of the greatest characters ever put on screen.
Everything about the picture has a genuine creepiness to it and it is something that few people have ever learned to recreate. This is one you'll not want to miss, and I also recommend Tod Browning's 'Dracula' and even Werner Herzog's remake of this 'Nosferatu'.
All of which are very fine films...
