Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Dustin M — 28 Dec 2009
In a time when vampires have become cute, glittering, at war with werewolves, taken over the world, and redundant with books and books of falling in love with vampires in some kind of high school dramatic battle, Nosferatu is where it all began with vampires on the screen. The last vampire movie I have seen was Let the Right One In and in that film, it put the vampire genre back on the spot, for the movie deals with the with vampires and takes genre seriously.
Nosferatu is a very good film because has a gothic atmosphere with the presence of evil lurking in the shadows. We see Nosferatu as hideous creature with evil in his eyes.
I'll talk more about this film later on.
