Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Peter F — 28 Nov 2011
One of the most memorable films of the silent era, and possibly the best adaptation of Dracula to date. Instead of being held back by limits in technology and budget, Murnau crafted a film experience that's imagery was heightened by blurry camera work and sped up shots.
Like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Metropolis, Nosferatu is an expressionist film that has only become more unique over time.
