Review of Norwegian Wood (2010) by Morad M — 11 Dec 2010
Saw the film during the Toronto International Film Festival. Having read the beautiful Murakami novel, I was pleasantly surprised to see a film so faithful to the novel itself. The 300 page novel was adapted gorgeously, and with fragile and brilliant acting and Jonny Greenwood's terrific score, I think Haruki Murakami (who also co-wrote the script) would be proud to see such a well-crafted adaptation of his classic.
