Review of Norwegian Wood (2010) by Marti G — 01 Jun 2012
A hauntingly beautiful but very tragic film. The cinematography is superb. (Spoiler alert.) In the end, the main character Watanabe survives the grief and confusion caused by the overwhelmingly painful suicides of the two people closest to him, including the woman he loves.
That's really all that's redemptive about the film.
