Review of Norwegian Wood (2010) by Jessie W — 10 Jul 2012
Like most east-Asian films, extremely hard to understand... I guess I haven't gone through enough of life, but I find the characters very hard to identify with. Maybe reading the novel would help, maybe not.
As for the cinematics...the random cuts of landscapes and the slowness of everything were just annoying.
The upside? Kenichi Matsuyama. And the fact that life went on in the end.
