Review of Northfork (2003) by Ian W — 20 Jun 2007
Like watching American Gothic at 24 frames per second, Northfork is heavy on the dramatic, dialogueless shots and (over)reaches for some weighty American mythos. It still pulls these off, though, by mixing in a light sense of humor and actors that seem to understand the silliness of acting so gravely.
