Review of Northfork (2003) by Ryan C — 13 Feb 2008
A visually amazing movie, that thinks it is far more clever than it really is.
I feel like the filmmakers were debating on which movie to make, ultimately could not decide, and made both, then patched them together in the editing bay into the mess it ends up being.
With every scene, I felt hope rise within me for greatness, but again and again I was disappointed.
I wish they had avoided the heavy-handed allegory angle. It was utterly unnecessary.
