Thank god for this adaptation. Northanger Abbey is my favorite of Austen's novels, and for years the only film version of it was a terrible, awful production from the 1980s that completely missed the tone of the story.
This adaptation is almost perfect. It captures the humor and romance in absolutely the way Austen did.
