Review of Northanger Abbey (2007) by Denise H — 19 Mar 2010
Little more relaxed version of Northanger Abbey. J.J. Feild was charming with his politeness and that mischievous smile. Felicity Jones was just a tad too "modern" in her role...she needed more "innocence" since young ladies of this time period were VERY confined and controlled by society and their families.
Felt the ending was "rushed" too. But a decent production and the narrator's voice added to the Jane Austen "feel".
