Brutal re-telling of a doomed attempt on the last unconquered peak in Europe with the looming german politics of world war two fermenting in the background - big questions of why people climb mountains balanced with the intricate details of the physical act of alpine mountaineering makes for breath taking footage but more predicatable plot.
Like Touching The Void you sit there riveted by the physical punishment these climbers endure....
