Harrowing, real life adventure tale about four climbers who set out to conquer the supposedly unconquerable Eiger Mountain in Switzerland in 1936, with tragic results. Beautifully filmed and tautly directed, "North Face" is a white knuckle, slow burning suspense thriller.
