Top notch historical account of the failed 1936 climb, Reasonably historically accurate although a small license was taken. Superb location footage and gritty, tense scenes really capture the predicament.
Good background and context shedding light on what went wrong, how and why. The best climbing movie I have seen to date, and of particular interest to any fans of the adventure movie The Eiger Sanction.
