Review of North Country (2005) by Movie K — 20 Mar 2009
Charlize Theron is a single mum who goes back to her hometown. Through Frances McDormand intro, she start working in the local mine. They face sexual harassment and other distubance from the guys there.
Her past were not very good and she had many sexual partners when she's young. One of her old boyfriend who is also working in the mine starts disturbing her. She tried to bring up to the big boss but its no use.
She ask Woody Harrelson who is a lawyer to help her file for a case. The other female workers are worried of their own job and have no hopes of winning so didn't help her. Through her determination she fights on and finally got her victory.
Well acted by Charlize and the rest of the casts.
