Sorry but I really don't get what everyone loves about this film? It's not that the story of Lori Jenson is a story that isn't worth telling or that it isn't a poorly acted account (Both Charlize Theron and Frances McDormand give performances that make up for the film's flaws to a certain point.
) So what's the matter with the film? It's too pretty for it's own good. As hard as it tries to seem honest and heartfelt it seems as though the story came out of a halmark card writer and feels incredably fake.
