Review of North Country (2005) by Matt P — 05 Dec 2008
Saw this last night, thought I would be fast forwarding, but ended up rewinding to see some scenes over again, just to be sure I did not miss anything. Charlize is awesome in this role and probably a bit better than in Monster, which up to now I thought was her best role.
The movie itself is a great retelling of a true story of a person persevering in the face of great opposition. The mood of the movie was so intensely real,I really felt emotionally connected on many levels.
Highly recommend.
