Review of North by Northwest (1959) by Zaidsheikh94 S — 26 Dec 2010
North by Northwest is a classic Hitchcock film with the right amount of just about everything. There is tons of humour. The cast and actors are perfect. So are the chases. There is suspense in almost every part of the film.
Plus, the score was exceptionally well made. This movie may not be as gripping as Rear Window but is certainly better than To Catch A Thief which of course a very good one. The film concerns a man by the man named Roger Thornhill who ends up in the wrong places and does the wrong things at the wrong time.
If there was an American bond, its got to be Cary Grant. Had this film been a Bond movie, it would have been the best one.
