Review of North by Northwest (1959) by Alex R — 26 Jan 2012
Absolutely thrilling! Even by today's standards, Alfred Hitchcock reigns supreme in delivering a suspense like that of no other director I know. When things start to get thick it's by some terrible miracle that Hitchcock taps into your darkest fears for our character's and exploits them, making for a true nail biter.
Better still is the ever present charm, something I've come to learn and love about Hitchcock's work.
