The Hitchcock formula has reached full maturity, along with his leading man. Grant gets great mileage out of one quintessential grey suit. Hitchcock gets great mileage out of his supporting cast : a Cadillac limousine, a Lincoln Continental convertible, a couple of Ford Fairlanes and a train.
Light, airy, bordering on silly - the "full McGuffin".
