Review of North by Northwest (1959) by Phillie E — 02 Sep 2014
Alfred Hitchcock's nation-traveling thriller starring the always cool Cary Grant is pretty awesome. I think the film holds up fairly well when compared to today's thrillers and action films. The crop-duster scene is still one of the greatest action scenes ever made, and it is followed up by a great final climax on Mount Rushmore.
Great cinematography, wonderful plot, and Cary Grant in the lead make this one of my favorite Hitchcock films.
