Have you ever seen David Firth's short Flash animation series "Saladfingers"? Yes, I am going to compare this movie to that. This movie is so wierd that it's funny - sometimes. And I'm going to have to say the opposite of one critic who said North is "A fairy tale for the entire family." It features assination attempts on Elijah, swearing from Elijah, and partial nudity of Elijah. This unsettlingly strange comedy would be pretty awkward to watch with your parents as a young child. Especially given the sex jokes.
The bottom line is no one would know this movie exists if it didn't feature great performances from Elijah Wood and Bruce Willis. And for that it is maybe worth watching.
