Offbeat dramedy about a former skier who suffers a mental breakdown after being left by his girlfriend, and sets off cross country on a snowmobile to connect with the child he never knew he had, meeting all sorts of interesting characters along the way who help him in his journey.
Plays out like a kind of "Fargo" meets "The Straight Story," "North" tends to cut narrative corners whenever it can, but is ultimately oddly endearing.
