Review of Norbit (2007) by Movie K — 03 Jun 2010
The first 30 minutes of Norbit looked like it might be a funny, heartfelt movie about an orphan child who just happend to end up with one of the worst families, in what ended up being a pretty stupid movie filled with stupid thugs, and a lame pimp theme, that totally ruined the movie.
I even endured the overweight bitch theme, up until the whole church wedding, that totally sunk this film to the lowest level I have seen in years. I don't know, but if these pimp wannabees stood up and started talking crap like that at my sisters wedding, there would be no singing, just two guys getting thrown onto the front steps on their asses.
It was just a stupid movie, with a stupid plot, that ended badly. If it wasn't for a few decent chuckles, I would give this movie 10 percent. I guess it is worth watching once, you certainly wouldn't want to see it again.
