Review of Norbit (2007) by Jaiden M — 03 Feb 2014

Eddie Murphy returns to playing a bunch of characters. This time, orphan Norbit married his sweetheart by Ring Pop, but she gets taken first and they don't see each other again. Instead, he is left with Rasputia.

She treats him terribly and she is generally a terrible person. He eventually meets his original sweetheart and tries to figure out what to do. Norbit really isn't the interesting character here, his wife Rasputia is actually the more interesting character, but it focuses on Norbit instead.

Despite that, this just isn't that funny. This doesn't have the fun of earlier Murphy films and just isn't that good.
