Review of Norbit (2007) by Anthony Y — 15 Nov 2011
Watching "Norbit" for the first time was like looking into the face of God and hearing him say "Good work, son". If the only thing I ever accomplish in life is watching "Norbit", I would consider myself a very successful person.
Norbit f'n rules, man. Eddie Murphy stars as Norbit, a fat lady, and an old Chinese guy--'nuff said. After watching "Norbit", I honestly wanted to kill myself because I knew nothing could ever be that perfect again--losing my "Norbit" virginity was the high point of my whole life.
It was like watching a war waged between Heaven and Hell here on Earth, while the angels and demons 69ed at my feet and Satan reached up from Hell and gave me a handjob, while an angel sat on my face.
At the center of this comedy, lies perhaps the greatest tragedy in the history of man--that is, within all of us, there is a Norbit, screaming for acceptance in a harsh and uncaring world.
