Like "Us," this feels like a string of memes and intentionally startling scenes and images, rather than a story with believable characters. I loved Get Out but these last two Peele movies feel pretentious and shallow.
Great cinematography. Bad acting (under acting by the male lead, overacting by the female and their sidekick). Peele is stylish but his characters feel as thin and unrealistic as the ones in his previous sketch comedy.
