NOPE is a good film. The character dialogue is realistic and well acted, the cinematography is excellent, and the overall plot is pretty decent. However, if you're wondering why I'm calling the plot "pretty decent" and not "great" - it's because of one singular plot thread that is completely pointless and not well explained but is interwoven with most of the films storyline.
Saying what the plot thread is will spoil major parts of the movie, but just know it's pointless. Other than that, NOPE is a unique and enjoyable movie that is worth a watch.
