Review of Nope (2022) by Kwasie — 28 Jul 2022
The story never really develops. It does have some great cinematic sequences, but you’re left wondering “What’s the point?” Too many intermingled plots that never really coalesce. It just kind of meanders along. There’s never an “aha” moment during the movie that wants to keep you engaged.
Get Out was much simpler in its scope and, therefore, much more intriguing.
