Review of Non-Stop (2013) by Jack W — 02 Jan 2015

I thought this film was gonna be awful. Then I saw it pop up on a few Best lists at the end of the year so I said what the hell. And it isn't half bad. The premise is kind of ridiculous and relies on a staggering number of things to coincidentally happen in order for the narrative to play out.

That said, the film plays out nicely, slowly building pace and leaving you in suspense as to who the bad guy is right to the very end. Liam Neeson is great in this type of role. and he doesn't disappoint here.

This isn't a film that's gonna earn awards but it is entertaining and fun.
