Easily one of the best films for me in 2016 along with the revenant. it was gripping, intense, and Jake gyllenhal and Michael Shannon come to bat like no other. the way the movie comes together and ties things up at the end is nothing short of exceptional.

absolutely loved how the stories intertwined. this is not for the weak hearted, as it can give quite a stir of emotions, but if you ask me, it's well worth the ride. this is a must watch.
