Review of Noah (2015) by Fenky G — 03 Oct 2014
I appreciate how they tried to bring in moral conflict in defining the story and to stay true in the story. But I often find the original story itself self-flattering. Yes, they succeed in displaying the contrast of in the depth of the characters, but that doesn't ease the fact that watchers have already had the prior impression to the story.
However, in term of how the story is retold, it is respectable. And aside from the cliche part of popular belief and those who cling to it, the movie itself is very involving and entertaining. Good movie.
