Review of Noah (2015) by R. S — 18 Apr 2015

Definitely takes some weird liberties with the story, but strictly speaking, it doesn't contradict much that's actually in the Bible. Other than Ham and Japeth not having wives, the only major contradiction is the film's portrayal of God as distant, offering only vague images of what Noah must do, where in reality a major part of the book of Genesis is detailed instructions about the size and dimensions of the ark and who/what was supposed to be on it.

Most of Noah's bizarre misconceptions are understandable in light of this.
