The story was not long enough for a movie like this, so they had to fill in with a lot of WT? moments.
The movie es full of inconsistencies, and magic.
SPOILERS ahead.
Noah is a homicidal nut case. Emma Watson gets pregnant and delivers twins while on the boat (how long was her gestation? 36 days instead of 36 weeks?). There are stone robots and most of the water came out of the ground... Oh, yeah, there was a little reain also.
